A lot has changed regarding the needs of customers and the products that are available to them since Rich and Marci Diesel opened Diesel’s Heating and Air Conditioning in 1984, but what has remained constant is the support and love that the owners have for their business and the community it serves.
Rich and Marci purchased their heating business, which was originally located in Canonsburg, from Raymond “Red” Livolsi. Decades of growth and expansion found them needing a larger location. In 2001, the Diesels purchased and renovated the old Dudt’s Bakery along Pike Street in Houston, a project which earned them a Beautification Award from the Washington County Redevelopment Authority.

-Diesel’s offers sales, service and installation of heating and cooling systems for existing homes and new construction.
-Diesel’s primarily services residential and commercial customers; however it also provides service and products to some light industrial customers

How We Stay Up-to-Date
“Over the past 27 years we have seen many changes in the heating and air conditioning industry,” said Diesel. “There is now a mandate on higher efficiency furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps and we have made the switch from ozone depleting Freon to environment-friendly types. Diesel’s has always been an area leader on the most up-to-date products and services.
Many homeowners are now looking for humidification and air purification for the family’s health. Our custom sheet metal shop fabricates the ductwork for a professional, neat-looking job. We want to be partners with our customers and try to find them every tax credit or rebate available to them. Many times they tell us that the “other guy” never told them about the rebates.
